Just a small update , we moved the tank onto the stand tonight , I spent all last night and today removing the ceiling and reinforcing the rafters and joices so i could box it all in so my light rack and exaust fans can be installed later on, hopefully I can control humidity by keeping as much of the water consealed without having any temperatures fluctuate significantly.
I will have some pics up tomorrow.
I'm going to need some ideas on pumps for this beast. I'm thinking if running a closed loop on the rear of the tank and running a couple big mag-drives put of the sumps below.

Well I finally figured it out , only took like 3 days to post pics,how could I be so invalent?
Anyway heres are a couple of pictures of the room I'm turning into a dedicated room just for the inwall tank and equiptment.
The wife and all my friends think I'm nuts, which I probably am, but I'll try and keep a update on my project as time allows me.
By the way that is a part of the old stand the last owner gave me when I bought the tank which I'm not using, I'm building a whole new one.
Those extra tanks are going under the stand for sumps. I would like to run a insump style skimmer and mag drives in there so if there was a problem it would stay in them.

The Cheap white styrofoam sheeting. I used 1" under my 240 and frag tanks and they settled perfectly level. IME the pink and blue high density insulation foam doesn't work as well. I had to redo the 240 after using blue...

I'm in the process of mudding the drywall that I installed on the front wall and the ceiling above. Heres a few more pictures of what I have done so far including routering and sanding down the rest of the overflows flush so thier not so noticeable anymore, the previous owner cut them out with a rotozip which kinda ruined the purpose of them. I guess he wanted more space in it?
I still have to climb up in this thing to buff out the inside and the front bow. shouldn't be too bad.

You should have heard the wife when I told her this room is going to be dedicated just for the tank and all the equiptment.
Actually you should have heard her when I first brought the tank home in my enclosed trailer.......that was priceless!!
At first she said it was rediculous but, now that is up in the wall and the project is coming along, she said ...."oh the tanks not really that big after all". that's when I thought to myself ................I knew I should have went bigger.LOL

Here are some more pics , I decided to not have this tank hang past the drywall due to banging my head on it every time I sat down on the couch. I will have custom pieces of mirriors made for the sides and bottom fill ins. I'm not sure if I'm going to do the same with the top sections, also this will be outlined in oak trim to match the rest of my trim throughout the house.
I never pushed the couch over far enough to center it with the tank before I took the picture, it will be when I'm done sanding and painting.

This is very nice looking tank! Tagging along for this great build.
One comment though.. are you sure you don't want to push it past the drywall? It would be soooo nice in the room. I'd move the couch off the wall just to get that nice bow out into the room!

I have seen some pushed out and they look amazing. you can do nice rounded woodwork above and below. just a thought.
