It's almost been a month since I posted anything.
Anyway I have really busy getting everything done with what little to no time I have had this last month.
I going to change the way the drains come down into the overflows in the sumps below.
I'm thinking I want to run a "T" off the existing drain and install two 90's and run them into 8" socks and eliminate that whole spray bar idea.
I don't have any microbubbles , but I'm having issues with the pvc getting clogged so that's getting changed tomorrow.
Also I'm going to throw a couple koralia powerheads in the back of the sumps to keep the bottom clean so it won't have detrius sitting back there.
I have been working day and night for the last two days to get our laudry room done, painting, installing cabinets and installing a new door on the rear of the house. I stillhave more electrical to do this week...............yeahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!
But here's some pics of what I have accomplised already.
My only question is "will this project ever be done?"
Here's one of the pillars done. turned out pretty nice.
Farther back..
The H.O.'s aer only temporary.
Light rack still in the works. I have a couple 2x4's in place underneath it untill I mount a linear acuator to it.
I will have another Lumenarc up there in the center when it's all said and done.
The rack is bolted to drawer slides to make it possible to go up and down smoothly. I made up some safety stops out of aluminum, because I didn't trust the small bupm stops and the bottom of the tracks.
Heres the back side of the tank, alot of people don't realize the size of this tank untill they see how deep it is from the front of the tank.
I call this guy "hotshot" always has to be the one in the picture.
Nice view of what I have to see what I have accomplished so far.
And last but not least my 3 yr old Sohol that died for no reason at all.......
I was pretty upset about it and thought I was going to throw in the towel. But decided to keep going and learn from my mistakes.
I hope everyone enjoys and I am always up for anyones ideas that might help me along the way to keeping a sucessful tank.
