Tek Light 6x54 Ballast !!

Anyone know where I can get one, my 4 center bulbs will not go on, they flick on and thats it.

So I found the ballast online, $75 not bad, but if I want it overnight its another $150.......$225 seems like a bit much

Heck if I take that, plus I was thinking of getting a Reefbrite XHO, that's $350, now Im up to half of an LED system, figuring two AI or Radions.......hmmmmm !!!

did you swap bulbs around to make sure they all work?

Yep, just the 4 center, it's definitely the ballast

I wouldn't pay to have it delivered overnight. Your corals will be fine for a few days or whatever. I would use that $150 to just get two of them.

Found a ballast at a local electrical supply shop

That's awesome that you found one locally. Can you let us know how it works out and which shop? I have the same fixture and would love to tuck that info away in case I'm ever in the same pinch.

Success !!! Changing the ballast did the trick. The original ballast was an "Advanced Centium" which no one carries locally. But a number of places stock the "Universal" brand, which is the same. Bought it at Quermback Electric downtown, other places including Davis Electrical Supply carry it.
