i redid my 29g and got rid of my blue assessor , he was hiding way too much for me...

i currently have a yellow neon goby, lime striped goby, hifin goby and pistol shrimp, also an anemone shrimp that resides on my ricordea colonies and VERY temporarly a SMALL hippo tang that will soon be going into my 120...... so tang police, don't dwell on him please... :)

i'm looking for some other fish to add that will be out a good bit. something other than clowns or firefish... and something that DEFINITELY WILL NOT eat my anemone shrimp,, he is too cute to lose.... :)

so, what do ya'll keep in your 29's?

thanks for the suggestions..... lisa

tank crashed, lots all fish and some corals

btu my list is:

hi fin red banded goby
randals pistol shrimp(debating)
royal gramma
1-2 percs(most likely 2)

i have a 37 and have 2 clark clowns, yellowtail damsel, and golden cori wrasse. At times i have had more bicolor blenny and neon blenny and high fin red goby. When i exceeded the four fish (which seemed to be the magic number in my tank) the other fish would eventually die, usually to what i think was agression from the clowns. I had a beautiful carpenter flasher wrasse for quite some time, he did jump out of the tank after about 5 months. I think he was chased and that was why he jumped, so now i just keep these main staples i have and it works well

in addition sand sifting star, serpent star, and coral banded shrimp(he is an agressive one) I had the shrimp for two years now

well, thanks guys,,
i just added 2 ventralis anthias to the tank. i've wanted some for quite a while now, i'm keeping my fingers crossed that they do well.... they are very beauiful fish....

thanks for the suggestions,,, lisa

i have 2 percula clowns... probably gonna keep it at that so i can keep my bioload low.

maybe add 1 small fish, but its gonna be a while until i find the right one.

had a bi color blenny and a yellow watchman with pistol, and a 6 line. all at different times though

right now i have a TEMPORARY 1inch yellow tank, and one false perc, and one black and white perc.
I am going to get one more fish....im thinkin a pygmy angel of some sort, or maybe a goby..

Dan

I have 2 inch female maroon, neon goby, 6 inch eel goby, mandarin, pajama cardinal, and lots of inverts

Ah tell me how those do, they are very sensitive from what I hear (tend to like darker tanks), and are some of the hardest anthias to keep. Be sure to keep up with their feedings, mine like to eat small meals 2-3 times a day. But if they seem to be swimming rather frantically when food isn't around, you might want to pop them into your 120g. I dunno how you got them though, I rarely see them here and they run over 100 bucks each.

In my 29 I have two Bartlett's anthias, 2 tank bred perculas, and two green chromis. I also have a very small amount of liverock so there is a lot of upper aquarium space for the anthias to swim. Plus they enjoy the heavy current.

Very cool. Its nice to see someone trying something different rather than going with the old gobie and clown fish.

I'd love to see pics of the new fish.

I don't know if this would be too comparable to a firefish for you or not, but check into a scissortail goby.

i know you redid the 29, but is it still pretty established with amphipods and copepods and such? if so, how about a mandarinfish?
