tenants in the colt

this worm looking things have been living in the colt for ever but they use to disappear in them like if they would be in the coral now after maybe four months their coming out more and more and move to the rocks but today I saw one about three inches long completely out and about walked all over the muchrooms and went back to the colt what are this and should I get rid of them not that their harming anything they live in the colt they don't mess with the clowns that host the colt

That doesnt look right, I would get rid of them fast! Hope this helps...

Looks like a spaghetti worm. I had a couple of them that came with my Colt Coral. I watched them for a few weeks and noticed they started to tear into the colt's soft body and polyps.

I could always tell when the worms were out because small sections of the colt would suck in. Stood out like a sore thumb.

At that point, I pulled the colt out of the water and removed the worms.
