Tentacle drop

Not sure if this is a different way of budding or not. I noticed a piece of my My lemon drop BTAat the bottom of rocks. Anemone seems to be healed, not sure when or why

It has been in tank for over a year with pair of Onyx perc's, no change in chemistry, RBTA has been in tank for over 5 yrs as well. Clowns go back and forth between both and have never been agressive toward tenacles. Anyone heard of this as a reproduction method?
