Test Email

Anyone had this happen?

Clicking the box for "test email" in the Network section and then "Update" does not send a test email.

BUT

If I create a "SendAlarm" OutLet and simulate an "ON", I get sent an email with the "Status Report" of the Apex.

Yes to the first question.
You may very well be setting it up to send an email but,
it can't because you don't have your email setup right so it can't send one.

Well, I agree with you but in this case it HAS to be set up correctly as it sends an email when an Alarm occurrence happens.
 
it's worth an email to Neptune. See what Curt says. Let us know because I'm curious also. Not sure how that can happen. What firmware are you running?
 
Alan, this Apex was sent in for repair 3 weeks ago. So I assume it has the latest version of firmware. Came back ok or at least I thought it did.

All kinds of funny things are happening now and Curt is arranging to telnet in to see whats going on.

Curt has always responded quickly and the customer service has been great.
 
Curt fixed me up via Telnet. Not sure what the actual problem was but he had to delete the webpages. I reinstall them via Flash Utility and all's fine except I have 1 Outlet on the EB8 that doesn't work.

Thanks to Curt, whoever said Customer Service was lacking is nuts.
