Yes to the first question.
You may very well be setting it up to send an email but,
it can't because you don't have your email setup right so it can't send one.
Curt fixed me up via Telnet. Not sure what the actual problem was but he had to delete the webpages. I reinstall them via Flash Utility and all's fine except I have 1 Outlet on the EB8 that doesn't work.
Thanks to Curt, whoever said Customer Service was lacking is nuts.
