test kits for the colorblind

Anyone else out there have this problem? I've been diagnosed as color blind, I am mostly able to discern shades but I never trust myself and typically run around the house asking for second and third opinions on all of my water test results.

Does anyone else have this issue and have they found a particular kit that's more "fool proof" for us spectorally challenged individuals? I guess I could go with electronic equipment, but that can be pricey, and they don't have an electronic equivalent for all reef tests.

I use my wife's eyes. Very interested in alternative tests, I can't use any of the Salifert gear.
