Hanna for Phosphate
Salifert for Magnesium (test maybe twice a year)

No real need to test anything else in an established system...

Are there any test kits that are not sensitive to heat? Meaning, are there any that won't "spoil" or "go bad" due to heat?

It would be stored in my house, however, the room where I have my tank is not insulated (added on) so the temp gets to be about 85 or so during the heat of the day. Which is why I have to use 2 small desk fans to keep my tank cool (temp was about 87 before the fans, now at about 79-80 with the fans)

85 isn't that bad. I wouldn't worry that much.

i tried the red sea pro kits but never had any luck with them. Caps breaking and nipple clogging. Too much time wasted.....

Salifert for nitrate, mg and ca
hanna for po4 and alk

red sea for cal, alk, mag, and nitrate. Hanna for phosphate.

I use a mix of salifert, ELOS and API but i don't think I will be buying any more API they just are not as good as the others
