Was not sure whether to post this here or I the reef chemistry forum"¦.
These are the test results from my 90g SPS tank all of these levels have stayed consistent for the last 10 days except for the Phosphate which was .36pmm 4 days ago I did a 30% water change and change the media in my GFO/carbon reactor the next day the Phosphate dropped to 0.19ppm and has stayed there for the last four days I know that the Phosphate is still high I plan on another 30% water change tonight. I have a few questions on some of my other levels first off is this high a level of magnesium bad or dangerous in any way? I have discontinued does Magnesium for the time being until it drops to about 1500ppm. The other question is the PH what can I do to bring it up?
Calcium 460ppm
Alkalinity/KH 8.6
Magnesium 2000ppm
Phosphate 0.19ppm
SG 1.024
Temp 77-79F
PH 7.89
Ammonia 0ppm
Nitrite 0ppm
Nitrate <5ppm
