I'd say a faster shutter speed or tripod may have helped in the sharpness department. Also you could slightly underexpose it- I assume the tank has a black back so the pic should probably be a bit darker. Take a look at the shutter speed next time you take a shot like that one- if it's slow you may need to use a tripod or increase the iso. Shooting squarely into the tank [not at an angle] will help as well.

Whenever you see NOTHING sharp in an image it's a dead giveaway of motion, yours ... I agree faster shutter speed and/or tripod. Also you have NO depth of field, I know you want to get really close, but try backing off ... just a little.
