I have a question I sure I already know the answer to but just not sure. If I put my tank water in a bottle to get tested at my lfs dose the params change over time..? for say if the water stays in the bottle for 1/2 hr will my tests get skewd..? I would assume no but i am not sure. thanks

Not in that short a time.
You really would be better off doing you own testing and only rely on the LFS to check when you think something is off.

I test weekly. But every so often I like to take my water in and get a second look. I usually put water in a cup and test that water at home. But wasn't sure if my water sample would be off if it stays in a bottle for some time

+1, your pH will shift for sure, the big three calcium, alkalinity and magnesium along with nitrates will remain stable.
