Chloramine filters are no big deal, just a little more expensive, but necessary. And easily to get off amazon or brs. You are lucky you figured it out now, some people have tank problems for years before figuring it out. Everyone should always check their city water supply for chlorine vs chloramine before using an ro/di at home.

BRS now has a Hanna kit for chlorine.

Ive had multiple issues with choloramine. Including nuking sps colonies.

Now I test every batch of water I make.
