Tests best before date?

I just realised that my salifert water tests are out of or coming up to the date on the box. Does this date matter as the stuff isn't organic and goes off. But then why do they have a date on if that's the case? I'm confused. Should I throw them all out or should 8 keep them and replace gradually?

Sometimes tests will still be accurate way beyond their expiration date... Sometimes they won't..
If you don't have a way to confirm their accuracy then decide if you "feel lucky punk"..

Salifert "guarantees" the accuracy of their test kits for a certain period of time...but not forever. Things evaporate, break down eventually...entropy and whatnot. They're probably fine to use for a while. Like mcgyvr alluded, you could double check with another test kit. Your LFS could probably help you confirm.
