Steven M. < And sunkool , I . O . U . BIG TIME . You guys were great , and I can't thank you enough . Thank you for doing so much hard work today . I think my tank will look great because of you two . As soon as I can get the pics up , I will post them .

I am so lucky to have such good friends .

Thank you so much , Ted

I thought about calling in that favor this morning at 4:25 when my tank was overflowing. My float switch stuck open on the top off. Soaked the carpet for 2 feet in front of the stand. Salinity droped to 28, fish were acting like they were drunk on freshwater. even that green stuff that you like so much turned pure white.
I will be doing topoff by hand from now on, if the wife lets me keep it!!!

No problem Steve, I can make the flanges .

sunkool , you should of called me I would of come over to help . Do you still need help ? Ted

no I am all set. I used a carpet cleaner to remove the water, but it was soaked. I think I need to move the tank and lift the carpet to let the padding dry. What do you think?

sunkool , You hit the nail on the head . You need to dry out everything , even under the stand . You also need to flush all the salt out of everything , because it will draw moisture , and stay damp . This is why I don't have carpet any more . Tile is more reef tank friendly . Ted
