I wanted to thank Marineflake for hosting a great meeting. And thank you Barrett for the frag demo and the sump information. I think the little light bulb in my brain flickered on sump construction and function. Also thank you to all the members that brought corals to frag....I brought home some neat goodies. Thank you Dave for the door prizes (although I did not win one of them ) oh shucks thanks everyone that had anything to do with the meeting today ...you all did a great job.

Kudos to all involved, I believe this was one of the most informative organized meetings I have attended. It was a pleasant way to spend my Saturday afternoon.

I agree, thanks MarineFlake. The facilities were really nice. It was a great idea to have a meeting there. Barrett as always You Da Man! I learned several things about fragging that I didn't know. Dave, thanks for the frag kit, I will be by to pick up some corals to use it on soon. I would also like to thank the "little people" that made the raffle SO enjoyable for me. Look forward to next months meeting.

For the next meeting, I think we should get one of these for Barrett...

It was a really informative meeting and enjoyed it.

It was an excellent meeting ..... thx to all who had part

Cathy's Raffle went over well

Barret's demo was excellent

And a big thx to our host!!!! :D

After seeing Cathy's Hydnophora I might look at getting one .... and I definetly want some of that Blue tortuosa if you ever frag it again I saw a large one online and its a beautiful coral

I have to say I learned more today then in along time. 5 or 6 hundred more of these and I will be ready to really get something going. Barret you did good. I think I understand the sumps a little more. I really need more lessons on sumps so I can get my 120 up. Thanks to all for the great meeting. Worth the drive.

Thanks Marine Flake!

This meeting was a lot of fun and Barrett, as usual, went way above and beyond for all of us. Thanks Barrett .... we do appreciate you.

For those of you tempted by the hydnophora, check out my photo gallery, the first two pics on page 2. Brown star polyps amazingly sting it back, but you can see in the second pic what it does to ricordea. The ric in that picture completely disintegrated everywhere the goo hit it. It is a really pretty flourescent green, though and as long as its placed where it can't fling nasty on its neighbors, its nice to have in the tank.

Thanks to all who shared corals to frag and to St. Jude's for their contribution to the club. Thanks for participating in the raffle. It comes back around to you to fund good meetings, door prizes and club activities in the future.

Thanks, Ryan, for bringing my helpers. I enjoyed their participation very much.

i had a good time as well, thoses 4hrs just flew by, i think casses daughter was a little tired she threw in the towel earley, all my frags are doing well this morning, the leather i brought is still mad at me,

I took two of the fingers off. Tina was like a mother sending her baby off to elementary school :0
Leathers do that Tina. They will recover in a couple days. Its not in any danger right now, just bracing itself for the next attack. As soon as It realizes its over it'll be back out and happy... minus an arm or two.
Thanks to Paul (MarineFlake) for getting the meeting prepared for us. Way to go! I would have never thought of checking out the local car dealership!
I would like to get with our donation crew on trying to get some door prizes for the next meeting. Also, lets get an update on the School Tanks!

not for the first day of school but for its first hair cut, i realy thought you were going to cut bigger fingers off, i was thinking a whole branch, & i would take the trunk back home to grow new branches,

all I can say now is Wowzer...I came home from work a little while ago and all the frags I got are open and strutting thier stuff. Once they opened up they are a lot bigger than they looked when we bagged them up . I can honestly say I am at about max for my tank until I get the 90 gallon going. Now I have to get out my coral books and figure out just what is what .
