Thank you Richard!

If you guys find your hermit crab and snail population diminishing (for whatever reason...mantis predation, old age, etc) order a "C.A.R.E. package" from Richard! It's like getting Part 2 all over again because even though I usually order replacement snails, hermit crabs, and greenery he always puts in extra goodies.

Bless you Richard! You keep my tank so beautiful! Here are some pics...

The red sponge is a serious porcelain crab nursery. I counted 7 of them

That pink sponge is the same one I have. It is one of the most durable and hardy it seems. It is my wife's favorite and always seems to be extremely happy. neat stuff as always.

Yes, it is! I tell customers about TBS and the aquacultured rock all the time. One came back today and asked me for the URL to your website.

I can see growth on the star coral.....since you got it...that in itself is pretty amazing...you are a great mommy!

I don't know about great, but I am learning. I've gotten much better with sponges. One of the first sponges that came with the original Part 2 is now coming back from the brink of death. The poor thing got the double whammy...exposure to air and put in a low flow spot.

good lord that tank is packed. I have not done as well. pretty much everything from my part 1 and 2 has gone the way of the dodo bird. the anenomes up and dissapeared, all the sponges died, starfish and cukes have disappeared never to be seen again.:(

Thank you for the compliments. My Florida biotope is 9 months old now, and I make novice mistakes more often than not, but my tank has been forgiving. And Richard has been such a great help.

While I have lost condy anemones, I have had survivors, too and they have really grown! The condy with the purple tips has developed brown pigment (like the ones I see when diving) and the flower anem that came with the original Part 2 is very dark brown. The only cucumber I lost was to a BAD crab, and I lost a smaller serpent star to blenny that got such an attitude it was biting at everything in the tank...it would even take on the mantis.

My tank has its ups and downs...cyano blooms, brown diatom blooms, temp swings from this crazy texas weather (can't afford a chiller right now), etc.

Richard helps me ALOT with advice and the extra goody he adds to my cleanup crew orders. If it weren't for him my tank would be less colorful.

How do we go about ordering a C.A.R.E. package? My TBS rock is almost a year old and I need a refresh on my little critters.

Divemonster, maybe you can clarify what this means. Obviously you don't order a new package.??

Edit: never mind. I found the 'Package' discount rate. Doh

Richard,
How would like me to order the C.A.R.E package? Should i just send you an email of everything I need?

I can use the order form and charge my card but it doesn't apply the discounted price.

For my 29 Gal I'm thinking:
20 blue hermit crabs
15 Astera snails, I have about 5 or 6 from the original package.
2 Tiger Tail cucs
2 Peppermint shrimp
1 Red star
2 Condys
1 Yellow ball sponge
1 Brittle Star
I would love to get another one of these crabs:

Hey teri! Remember me and my little 14g from last summer? We both went through our cycles at about the same time. Your tank sure is looking great! :D

I need to get some pictures of mine. Like everyone else, I had some ups and downs and lost some livestock. For me, it was a nasty cold snap that took me by surprise, dropping the temps at home while I was at work when I didn't have a heater in the tank. What has survived, though, has thrived. I've even added two new inhabitants in the form of 2 small tru perc clownfish. The centerpiece of my tank is still my rock flower anemone.

Do you find your phosphates running high? I'm adding phosguard to my tank to see if that helps with the nuisance algae.

Thanks again, Richard! :D

Hey there gal  Of course I remember you! How's the new job? I've missed you and your amusing tank anecdotes. You sure know how to tell a good story.

Clownfish! I'll bet your daughter loves them. What are their names?

Phosphates are not running high on my tank. I cut back on feedings and changed the orientation of the powerheads so the tank gets a better flow. It made a huge difference for the sponges. I still have my ups and downs with cyano patches though.

PLEASE post some pics of your tank when you have the time.
