Thanks for a great Reefer Evening

My daughter, Mandy, and I had an absolute blast tonight. First off to Jeff's for some much needed items for the 120g build. pump, ballast, lights, fans and a couple of acro goodies. A really awesome tank filled with some choice corals (get in on his frags if you can - beautiful). Met their bird, Yankee...a sweetheart of an Umbrella Cockatoo...who let me clip his nails and wings...such a great bird...and got a chance to meet their adorable son.

Next stop, Marine Oasis - Mandy went nuts. Found some nice frags, including a huge chunk of neon blue Palys and also found some excellent pieces of Tonga.

Swung by Mel's and gave her a frag of Jeff's tort and showed Mandy her excellent basement sump system and plumbing...extremely clean and tidy and a truly expert job.

Finally, off to Webster to pick up Jdoe's fairy wrasse and spent some time trying to keep my scarf away from his two great dogs....such a pair! Got some great advice for pending upgrades to Mandy's Nano.

Came home, spent the next few hours acclimating and attaching our new finds to rock and getting them in the tanks.

p.s. in case you didn't notice the usage of the word "great" several times....what a fantastic way to spend a Friday night.
