Hey everybody!

I was bummed that I could not hang around long enough to see what everybody bought, so its great you're posting pics. I'm jealous. Its hard for me not to buy anything but I keep telling myself it is going to be hard enough to move what I already have!

I hope the gsps are looking good for everybody. KapKen, the xenia is slowly pulsing already. I had to renet a couple frags that had come loose and it looks like I will get 4 frags out of it if they all survive. Thanks!

And thanks for the compliments...I'm sure your tanks put my to shame...
Good to see everyone.

Thanks for the hospitality, dynagirl, of sharing your wonderful tank with all of us! I think its really nice. Yup the one frag was a loose collection of xenia that was growing on a power head. i just scraped it off, with its foot intact, the night before. all the bits that break off should attach to whatever they land on, like the gravel. then glue that to a rock. the other one, on a snail shell was anchored for several weeks. should be just fine. they like light, so move them up.

hey, how was the circus? Did everyone have a good time?

ken

dynagirl it was very nice of you to invite so many people in to your home. My gf was telling me earlier tonight how nice your home looked as well and I agree.

Ken,
Me and Steph definitely had a great time. Thanks again for organizing the trip Ken. I definitely want to get some of that xenia from you as well when I get the lighting.(If that ever happens) I was shocked they were already pulsing in her tank, so quickly. They must have been happy and healthy in your system.

You really impressed my wife, now she wants her own tank. She is poking me asking why my tank doesn't look that nice. Our whole trip was great. Imagine living that close to Dr Mac. You have some serious will power I would be there every day.
Thanks for the frag.

Al, What size tank are you going to get your wife?

I watched her shopping at Dr. Macs - it better be a minimum of a 125 or she's not going to be happy.

Try "5 Guys" next time - they don't have the top notch milk shakes Jake's has but the burgers are better.

dynagirl, anyway you could post some pics of your tank? Sorry, I was unable to go to Dr. Macs, but would love to see this beautiful tank of yours. Glad everyone had a good time and everything went well.

I agree with 5 guys, they are great burgers and fries! Jakes shakes can't be beat though.

Sure...Are there directions for posting pics? I haven't done it before. Also, I think the complements were very generous...I would consider it an average tank compared to other pics I have seen.

-Under the main menu on the left hand side is Photo Gallery
-Once you have clicked on Photo Gallery there will be a link on the right hand side that says "Upload Photos"
-Follow directions and then you've got it.

-Copy the url it tells you to use when posting your photo in the thread
-When you create a new thread there is a vB Code section. Click on "IMG" and enter the URL.

PM me if you need.

Licking would result in a much different outcome and probably get you banned from RC

HA!

Nah I think they want us to worship RC and deny the existance of all other forums. They would probably like that comment, lol.

Hey guys. I can't get my photos small enough to upload and still be able to see anything. I have looked at the compression software but I am on a Mac and they are all for Windows.
Any ideas?

Might want to pose that question on talkingreef.com There seems to be several mac fans/coral hobbyist there. I think a lot of people use a website called photobucket to upload their photos.

For now though, send them all to me in e-mails. I will upload the photos to my website and send you the URLs. I will also crop and resize a couple of the good ones. I will PM you my e-mail addy.

Jon
