Thanks Guys!!!!

LOL sad thing is, his tank still has more color than mine and that is with his stuff stressed!!!!

Glad it worked out, buddy.

For all of us that thought we would have made it, no way. Falcon Highway was a single lane slalom course with large patches of deep snow. There was one section at the bottom of the hill before Russ' street that had over a dozen cars and 4x4 off the road and stuck in barbed wire fences and deep snow.

I didnt have my camera but I was freaking amazed at all the cars off the road. I guess no brakes will do that to ya.

Well I guess my nightmare isnt over yet. Power company says it may take up to 3 days to repair all the downed power lines. Anybody know how long a generator can run continously?

I all depends on the generator but not 3 day you need to call Huhhhhh and get his and alternate them out so one has a downtime run a tank of gass at a time call if you need a break i will come and help

Everything seems fine. Tank is still a bit cloudy though. I think Ill shut the generator off for a while and let it cool down. Tim if you read this, I may need that generator so I can alternate it!

That's crazy 3 days? hopefully sooner, I'd think it'll be fine running continuously. Just go get plenty of gas. I'd maybe get something bigger so you can run the whole house though maybe? I imagine a larger one would be much quieter.
Anyway sorry to hear that, the elect. damage must be pretty extensive!

Lin, thanks for the offer on the RO. I got some. Cant afford a generator right now but I will invest in one here in the future. Man, I hope it doesnt last 3 days. That would suck bigtime!

I went to bed worried about your tank and woke up with it on my mind. It's great to see how everyone pulled together to help you out, Russ. SCMAS rocks!!!

Wow Russ, sorry to hear about the power outage. Glad to hear you recovered. For short term outages I've heard you can use a battery powered air pump and stone to aeration. Heat won't dissipate too quickly if it’s only a few hours.

I thought about getting a generator but that’s one big expense.

Well, I can relax now. Power is back on!!! Tim, thanks for lending me your generator bud! Didnt even get to use it. Robert, thanks again for the heater and skimmer. I didnt even take it out of the box. Once power was stored, my skimmer is running fine again. I wonder if the cycling of the generator had something to do with it? Looks like i will have a casualty. A pink with blue tip mille is starting to STN on me. So far thats it. Ill take that lost if its the only one. Oh, again thanks to Christine, Chris and Paul and everyone in SCMAS who gave support! YOU GUYS ROCK!!!
