Scott- you will really like this fish. I got one a few months back when my wife said "Get a fish with some red in it."and he is just a great addition to the tank. Always front and center and eats anything, even flake.
Congratulations Scott, on your purchase of a Super Male Fairy Wrasse! Thank you for telling us he arrived to his new home safe and sound and is adjusting well. As SPStoner says these are great fish and will provide you with a great deal of enjoyment. If we can be of any assistance please let us know.
Sincerely,

Thanks. I use to have a pair in the past but thanks to a power outtage I lost them along with other fairy wrasses that day. My Flame wrasse and his little girl didn't exactly welcome the new hooded but they seem to be getting better. My little flame female is becomming a little witch. I was thinking of adding a female hooded but I might have to think twice about it.
That's good info on the flames. Thanks. I have a pair of Rhomboid, the male Hooded, and I was thinking of adding a pair, or a male Flame. Maybe adding it last would make a difference? i have heard that they can be mean to other Cirrhilabrus. I like the Pyle's wrasse, too. Maybe I'll go with that one instead...
Given your aquarium has plenty of hiding places in the live rock; some hobbyists have successfully added this mixture of Wrasses to their aquariums. We would recommend doing so with caution for anyone who chooses to attempt this combination. Because species have certain traits as well as each fish may also have it’s own personality, so what will work for one enthusiast, may not work for another.
Rearranging your live rock in the aquarium and adding more than one Wrasse at a time will help to reduce the possible stress as well.
