Thanks to everyone that planned the swap, worked it, gave me great deals, and bought from me. I also have a few of those LED's if anyone is interested in them.

Anthony

Thanks Anthony, You came through in light of the adversity you faced. I apprectiate it. Tell me about those leds, plz, how much, and a pic would be nice. I know, I should have looked at them at the swap, I just wasn't prepared for equipment. Mark

Are you guys talking about the awesome LED strips that I saw during the swap? I was quite impressed with the brightness of these strips. I'm a bit embarrased to say that I was too busy looking and forgot to ask what make it was and where to get one. Can you enlighten me on them?

The Critter has some that are pretty Awesome, I ordered one of his all blue bars for Actinic suplementation as I don't have any T5's. They are 100.00 3W I think It was around ten bulbs but very bright and no heat!!! FYI

Yeah, the LED's that I have are more like moon light/accent lights than actinics. I will try to get a few good pictures if I can. My camera sucks at taking night shots, so maybe Rhett will volunteer a few shots with his nice camera since he has one of my LED's. Bill, I saw you at the swap, but I must have just missed when I started to head your way. I will probably be heading to Spring Hill in the next week or so if you want me to swing by and hook that light up for you. I have not had a chance to head up that way yet. Just let me know.

those LED's looked sweet over that tank. There was 4 white/blue bars and 1 of the moon light bars. I'm wondering if just 2 of those white/blue bars with 1 moon light bar would be enough over a 15 gal tank (24x12x12)?

Don't the LED's bulb last a long time? It would come up to be around $250, but if you don't have to buy bulbs for a few years or so, would be worth it. Might look into it. I think that was the price? Wasn't the main bars $99.99 and the moon light bar $49.99? I might be wrong or was those frag swap prices only?

I would like to say thanks to all that put on a great frag swap.I really enjoyed the speaker and fellowship with other reefers.

You are right on prices. I even went today at the critter to order me some but Chris wasn't there. I was talking to the guy there And they are comeing out with 6w led by the end of the summer. :)

If you guys like the LEDs, you can DIY them without too much issue. Most people are just mounting them to giant heatsinks. :) And if you have a controller that can dim, you can use it to dim your LEDs up and down! Good stuff. I'm about to put together some DIY LED actinic supplementation with maybe 6 Cree XR-E 3w royal blue (460nm I think) LEDs with 80 degree lenses! Should be sweet...
