I was wanting to come but we had family from michigan visiting so i got stuck here but im glad everything went good and i got something out of it anyways. I was just asking around about something to use other then the poly filters so this helped me out alot.

I was just over at FINS in Franklin and they have this filter which is the one we were talking about. They had about 7-8 on the rack. Just ask for the Phos Filter and they will know what you are looking for.

the filter pads that i use that remove phosphates are called poly filter. I have to order the poly filter online so this will save me from online ordering if there as good as the polyfilter.

edit: from what ive read since i posted these do better then the poly filters. jfolley i couldnt find any info on about how long they last. how often do you have to change yours out?

Are you talking about the magnavore one? Are you running water through it or just putting it in the sump? I would think it would clog long before a month. At least it would in my tank.

Ah, missed the link. That is the one, I think the pad is made by magnavore.
