"And now Mel and Matt- what the heck are you guys going to do with your lives now that you have them back?!"

I say we start a petition to sign them up for another year!
We all know that they would be soooo bored if they had time for say... a life... LOL
No good deed goes unpunished...

Jobs well done!

Thanks Ray and to everyone for your kind words. We really enjoyed doing this and I think the biggest enjoyment comes when it is all over and we see how happy everyone was with the event. Thanks to all for their participation and support.

The event isn't over for us yet Ray. We still have all the paperwork to do. It never ends. But if you want to come over and help me TYPE it all into the computer...:lolspin:

Don't worry, the wheels are already turning and we are begining to plan another event/activity for ORCA that will be cool and fun. Details should be at the next meeting in August.

As for the another year comment (you don't think I would have missed that do you???).. I think you have been either smoking something :smokin: or talking to Jason too much :lmao:

Why I oughta...:hammer: :fun2:

Seriously though, thanks to all the people on the SRC Committee who helped make this year a success. We couldn't have done it all without you.

Although Mel doesn't think they should, I second this :P

Even though I have been in Orca for a few short months, it seems the club has growned tremendously and going very succesfully, under our current orca board, and how well SRC went, it will be hard for someone to fill their shoes...well besides maybe them ;P

So, SRC is going to be a two day event with 10 speakers and sponsor booths next year, right;););)?? J/K...or am I? I agree with Ray, I could easily see the board being re-elected without much challenge.

You're going to give them nightmares Craig lol let them breathe alittle after this weekend before you convince them to do another great job again next year ;p hahah

I would just to thank all the organizers and members of ORCA for putting on a wonderful conference. I enjoyed being there, the hospitality of the hosts and meeting with the members. The operation was all top notch.

Sunday at Sea World was great. Thanks Justin for taking us to a great behind the scenes tour and Rick and Terry for spending thier Sunday with us.

Now only if Useless Air had cooperated I would have got home at a reasonable hour instead of 1:30 AM last night !!.

Thanks everyone for making this a memorable event.

sanjay.

We couldn't have done it without you, Sanjay. Your presentation shed a lot of light(pun intended) for our club. Your findings are much more along the lines of what I had hoped I would see from other tests/comments/critiques. You gave an honest assessment of what is, what was, and what is yet to come. For me, your presentation was the highlight of the whole thing.

Thanks so much for helping make this SRC something really special!!

Just wanted to get my .02 worth in...
The dedication from the staff members and commitment from the entire team made this years SRC a highly memorable one indeed.
I personally will be looking forward to the next conference working it or just attending it. There are not too many things that could be changed to make it anymore successful than it turned out. Kudos to Matt and Mellissa for their outstanding leadership and preparation. (next time I see Mel I will be ducking to avoid the club! LOL)

Gwrench,
How 'bout you run for President in the October elections and then you can put on the SRC next year.
I think you could do it. :)
Matt & I would be there to support you, just as you have supported us.

Thanks for the offer Mel but
I think my wife would be talking to an attorney if I did that!!!! Besides I don't do well in power positions.
Brannon wait til I see you again!

I vote George as Prez and Joe as VP.
The two of you make a great team. Look how the two of you take care of the frag auction, very detailed and organized.

On another note...
If you could get your wife involved with the club, then she wouldn't divorce you. :)
You could always tell her it would be bad for publicity if she divorced you while you were president. :D
