Thanks to Reef Stew!

Derekbc

But I quarantined!
Reef Stew (Bob) supplied my students with brine shrimp again this year, and my students were so excited with this lab today.

Several of my students were able to take photos through the eye piece with their cell phones, and were excited to share the images with their families and friends.

Thanks for helping to get my students excited about science, Bob! I'll be sure to post some new photos of our classroom tank. The clowns are doing well and loved the reef stew this morning! :)

That is sooo cool!

It's because of teachers like you that I'm in this hobby! Started in the 4th grade with a teacher who put a ten gallon tank in the classrooom.

Thanks to Reef Stew for the donation for your classroom.

Could you use a hatchery? I have a base, air pump and I think a packet or two of the shrimp. All you need is the plastic soda bottle

Very cool!!

Are you still living in Phoenix, Bob? This is Katie. I cleaned tanks for you for a bit while I was working at About the Reef. I hope you and your family are doing well.

Hi Katie,
Same house but did a fish room addition. Check it out here at Reef Stews new fish room. Welcome back

Thanks for the offer! I don't have a need, but I'm sure someone else out here may.

I gave Derik some decapsulated eggs & hatchers so waiting to hear from him how it went.

The hatching is going to take place this week. I'll be sure to keep you informed on how the process goes. The eggs are still chilling in the fridge. :)

Very nice Bob!
Always nice to hear things like this in the hobby.
Keep up the great work Derek!

That's cool man, wish I had discovered reefing when I was that young.

Thanks for the words of encouragement! It is such a great experience to share with my students! It's a little shocking to hear quite a few of them cheer the clowns on to battle it out for the dominate role in the tank... Lol!
