I hope this pair works out. Obviously its very early since i got this pair 24 hours ago. immediately they huddled together and went straight into my RBTA. i was facinated that they would take to an anemone that quickly i thought i would have to be super lucky to get one to take to the anemone but both did!! now i sure hope they are right for each other. i picked these two out the bigger is a black ice and the smaller is a picasso, atleast thats what they were labeled as in the store. the black ice was the biggest of the two black ice clowns for sale and the picasso was around medium size. there were others bigger than he was so hopefully this one isnt female.. the smaller ones looked off.. didnt have as crazy of a pattern as this one did so i chose him.
I wasnt going to pick these specific clowns, i would have just bought the black ice and tried to get a second black ice later on down the road but i am much happier with this decision and i wouldnt have made the decision without all the advice that was sent to me via PM and the advice on my previous thread.
THANKS and ill let everyone know if i run into any problems like incompatibility.

Thanks everyone!!

I noticed the black ice asserting her dominance today pecking at the picasso. the picasso quickly submits every time so i am starting to believe the picasso is a male and this pair just might make it!!

Pairing Ocellaris to Percula you may have a rougher times than normal. I did. I attribute this to the two clowns did not see 1:1 because of slight behavior and signal differences. I do. Ross species pair twice and each time the males really got beat up badly. They eventually did well

I hope I have this luck

Hope so too. I have nicknamed by female perc Buddha because its like she took a vow of non-violence. She is huge, but incredibly easygoing regardless of whether it is other clowns, fish or humans in the tank, even when she is tending eggs. IMO, fish vary in personality as much as we do.
