Thought I share a few pic's of what I believe is not a very common Tang, Fowler Tang, he is aout 7-8" and has been eating Mysis, Enriche brined, small pieces of shrimp, a little flake so far, hasn't touched the Nori yet.

gorgeous fish! what is the maximum size?

I believe it reaches around 16-18", there was another one that was arond 10"

Very nice. It has a very striking resemblance to a Dussumier Tang with regards to the colors and marking on its face.

Nice fish :)

Where can i get one???

If you dont mind sharing the info what is the aprox cost of a beautiful fish like that???

Dennis
I got mine from a LFS in Toronto who gets rare fish, at the time he also got in 4 Acanthurus bariene which are also quite stunning and also very, very rare in the aquarium trade. I have seen some large Fowlers not long ago on Justrarefish.com, you could try them. It is probably one of the best looking Surgeons I seen, even more so in peson.

Be careful with the big ones (8" +). I hear collectors have been using some pretty bad collecting techniques to nab them. All of these big show size tangs that have been coming in lately are not living more than a few weeks and are acting very strange showing typical signs of Cyanide poisoning including some of the Fowleri's.

FOWLR Tang? so they're not suitable for reefs? :)
sorry, just had to do that.
But yeah, beautiful tang, never seen it before.
