The fittings for the drains appear to b e shower drains.....am I correct? :-) Also, what type of Silicone does your husband use to seal the Baffles?

Thanks.......and again nice work.

Tim

tblue, Thanks! And you are correct, those are shower drains. ;)
He said he used Dupont clear silicone adhesive.

gooliver, Are you referring to the stand the sump is sitting on? If so, it's 20 inches. If you are talking about a different stand let me know and I'll get those measurements.

the stand the aquarium is sitting on..it seems to be higher than normal
Do you mean the 125 aquarium? That is 37 inches.

No problem tblue! Let me know if you have other questions.

Good Luck! Feel free to post some pictures here as you progress with your sump! :)

Well, my system had a birthday on Monday February 27! So far things are going good! I've had some ups and downs along the way, but over all I am pleased with the progress. I battled PO4, and seem to have that under control with the help of phosban. I have battled SPS no ployp extention, but as of today I have FINALLY started seeing a few polyps coming out during the day. Not many and certainly not on all of my SPS, but it's a start! :) I will have to say, I have started to notice better coor in my SPS and am seeing a little growth too! :D I have also added seahorses to my system. Something I never thought I would do in a years time. :) Here are a few pictures taken earlier in February:

The acros are doing great compared to how they were. I am slowly seeing polyps even during the day on a few of them. I am also seeing a lor more color during the day. Still have a ways to go, but over all doing much better. Even seeing some growth!

Hey Micki, I don't think you have enough tangs in that tank.

I was thinking the same thing, maybe I should add 1 or 2 more... ;)

On a sad note... around 5:30 this morning our best buddy passed away unexpectedly. We had Fred for 11 wonderful years. He and I would lay together watching the tank and usually both of us would fall asleep. We have all had a long sad day. I tried to make his picture my avatar, but can't seem to get it small enough.

We love and miss you Fred...
