How about those long overdue tank shots???

That's on the schedule for "hopefully" tomorrow. :)

I've been promising some new pictures for a while now. Here are a few new pictures. I took several and didn't realize someone had changed my camera settings and most of them turned out very blurry. These are very so-so. I'll work on some more good ones in a day or so.

A few caps:

A few of the SPS:

This one looks like it has white tips. It has really changed back to the coloring it was intended since I went with Hamilton lights:

This is blurry, but I wanted to show how this is changing from the all green to the urple/green that it was when I got it. It;s changed so much since I went with the Hamilton lights a few weeks ago:

Urchin that appeared out of nowhere:

GBTA:

One of the 4 sections. This is the only one that didn't turn out blurry. I'll have to get the others another day:

Very nice. Look at your pretty zoos along the bottom, and a clam. :)

I have a feeling that Devil's Hand is actually Finger Leather. Mine doesn't grow in the shape yours is growing.

You're right abot that Marc, as usual. :)

Nice looking tank and that urchin is very cool. If it is an acrylic tank, just keep the coraline algae in check and you should have no problems with it.

Thanks Marc! You might very well be right about the devils hand/finger leather. When I bought my 55 tank it came with it and that's what the guy said it was called. I took a few pictures of the clam but as I said someone had changed the settings on my camera and they didn't turn out. I'll take some more today or tomorrow and post them. My goal with my zoos is to have them start at the bottom of the rock and climb up. Someone keeps moving some of them away from the rock!

jnarowe Thanks! That urchin came out of nowhere. There is a smaller one as well that I haven't seen in a while. I'm guessing they came with the 55 gallon 2 1/2 years ago and I never saw them and I've never bought any urchins. My tank is a glass tank so it should be ok. One of the pictures looks like there are a lot of scratches on the tank. I'm not sure why it turned out that way because the tank isn't scratched.

Micki, I love your set up and am following along. I hope to consolidate my tanks into a 125 or 150 and will be reviewing this thread many times (cos I will need bigtime help) Keep up the great work.

Thanks arbee! Hopefully some of my mistakes will prevent some of yours! :) Let me know when you start consolidating!

The tank was off for a water change so I took a few look down shots. Here are a few of my clam and a few of my GBTA.

This one shows the GBTA reflection on the top of the water. I thought it was kind of cool:

jnarowe, thanks. I will say the colors have changed markedly since getting the hamilton lights. Before the orange cap was a very dull color. Even the brown looks better. :)

Marc, thanks! Lately I'm doing good to get any shots taken! :) I hope to take more of the entire tank and the sections that turned out too blurry to use.

micki,
my wife wants the 150 for fowlr the 75 is going to be my reef tank. I like the way you ran the wires for the ballast are you going to use a picture to hide the hole in the wall. haha
