Tagging along. Hope to hear from the man behind the masterpiece.

Just when you think you seen all the great tanks(HCRK, Oregonreef) this tank comes along.

Thanks to spazz and travis, and the ownerof this tank for sharing the pix

I am thinking this guy could make a profit on this tank from charging admission instead of fragging... Heck I'd pay $10 just to see the fish room...

i dont know why people consider this tank of the month. i dont believe it should be that at all. i beleive it should be tank of the year!!! heck even tank of the decade!! that thing looks better then tanks at aquariums with an unlimited budget. whoever you are you got it going on and cudos to you.

I have to disagree, it should be "TANK OF THE MILLENNIUM", but I also have to restate my opinion "Please...don't post, it's not worth the hassle, or the ridicule".
Though that does not mean I would not be there tomorrow, just to drool, would the invite come.
Keep it up your way, and more importantly, KEEP IT THE FAMILY WAY! Ultimately that is what this is all about.
After all, this is just a hobby (regardless of research, and work involved). Coming home to "DADDY LOOK WHAT I SAW", or "HONEY....THANKS", is more important than any opinion voiced here!
I'm jealous, but I have heard both those statements's and am at least as proud of my tank ( in my mind's eye) as you must be of your's.

Keep it up:
Rick

Can't wait to see the videos. Its about as close and I can get to seeing it in person, I guess.

I would live on a reef if I could.

I agree... Marc is one of the "main stays" here at RC and a very trusted person for advice and has a great deal of experience when it comes to SW..... His website is a "must see" for everyone here..... I can't wait for the video(s)

Alright, finally got some vids uploaded. There were 2 to start with. One was over 2:30 so I had to split it in 2. The first vid uploaded just fine. The second part of the second vid uploaded fine. I couldn't get the first part uploaded and ended up splitting it again. Then I was able to get the second part of that split up but still can't get the first part up. So there are now 3 vids total for you to see. I have spent hours on the other part, which is my favorite, but I am giving up because it just doesn't want to upload properly to the website.

BTW, thanks melev for letting my use your site.

Here are the vids:

i don't get how has he so little circulation in that tank.

it certainly isn't 40X+ like we see in many other large sps dominated tanks...
whats the trick/secret here? his sps seem to be growing very well

Wow, awesome! That tank would look even better with a school of chromis or a school of anthias.

Or a school of both :)

Love the videos... Is it just me or... I didn't seem to see the ray in any of the vids...

Thanks Travis and Marc...

Shawn

Do we know how much liverock was used in the system? It seems to me that if he used more racks, he could get away with using less rock...

How long has the owner been in the hobby? He certainly has had some experience....
