So heres the set up as it stands.
The tank.
The sump. I still plan on getting a bit more LR to put in it and maybe toss a trigger in there since its basically a FOWLR lolz.
The Skimz SM201 I got seems to be dialed in and producing some of the nastiest skimmate Ive ever seen some out of my tank.
And heres the workings. I got the Apex plugged in and running the tank although I still wanna set it up for my ATO and AWC etc. but with the Holidays here I havent had much time to work on programming.
Thanks to Smack coming over and holding my hand we were able to get the GEO618 going. It seems to be dialed in though I'm sure I'll have to tweak it a bit but so far so good.
Heres a pic of the baby HT I got at MS yesterday. I saw him last weekend but wanted to wait until they had their sale. I'm glad he was still there! Hes about 3" right now.
I still need to get a pic of the flame angel I got also as hes got some outstanding markings but hes been a bit more mobile so havent had the chance to snap a good one yet.

Test results as of today.

Ph is still at 7.9 which id like to bring up a little but other than that I'm pretty happy.
So far so good!
Acid washed,rinsed and added another 140 lbs. of rock to the system also,bringing my total to 550-600 lbs. in the system.

Po4- 0

Maybe try running the air intake for the skimmer outside

This works really well. One thing I had to do is to use a hose twice the diameter of the original one as the extension to the outside. My skimmer didn't work as well when I tried to use the original diameter hose all the way outside.

I also checked Nitrate today and its risen to about 30. It could be because I stirred up the bottom of the tank yesterday sucking out a bunch of detritus.
I'm just being impatient for sure. I'm sure I won't have any nutrient problems once all my rock fully cures.

Got this guy today. I know that they can nip at certain things but from what Ive read they really dont do it until theyre adults so I guess I'll deal with it if/when the time comes.
