Off subject but it is almost the 4th. We have had a blow out the last couple of years and this year will surpass last. We decided to do t-shirts this year, Copapalooza 2006! Here is quick shot of what is ready so far, will be about twice by monday and who know's what everyone else will bring.
If anyone is interested and wants to drive all the way here, you are more than welcome. Starts with a pool party and a huge cookout (ribs, brisket, hot links etc) did I mention all you can consume? (food and drink). If you can handle being around a bunch of crazy cops.

Looks like we are going to have the ultimate rocket on the 4th here lol. If they don't get the shuttle off tomorrow, they will be launching it on the 4th. Since tomorrow is supposed to be rainy all day, it looks good for a 4th of July launch. Just hope we don't get an aerial display. I live 50 miles from the launch pad, and we can stand in the back yard and see it take off. It even shakes the ground all the way over here.

Looks like dugg may have a very noisy 4th. Watch the launch then launch a few of your own.

We have fireworks stores here that are open year round. Kind of takes the excitement out of the 4th. lol. It does look like a 4th of July shuttle launch though. I drive over to the coast for the normal rocket launches, but being a holiday weekend, there are way too many people over there to watch the shuttle launch. Night launches are the best anyway, you can see the flash as the rocket enters space.

It was a success! One guy was shot with a roman candle, and well, it was pretty funny. Started raining within minutes after the fireworks were over so that was good.

Would have liked to see that bottle rocket dugg.
