The accidental cutting of a pink Yuma.

I thought you Yuma freaks might enjoy this success story. I was trying to frag some baby pinks from my main rock when it accidently snapped about a month ago. My main pink Yuma was stretched across the break so I didn't have much choice other than cut it with a razor. The piece you see here started with a tiny bit of tissue which was probably 1/3 the size of a dime. It grew a new mouth and has started to fill in. I've never fragged a Yuma with a razor before but I'm glad it worked. I almost wrote this guy off not thinking he was going to make it, but he has been growing strong. Woohoo!

youd be surprised how hardy they really are. I had a orange/blue base yuma that i fragged, and a tiny bit of flesh stayed glued to the parent rock. the flesh was about 2 bubbles so i wrote it off as gone. 3 weeks go by and i notice the 2 bubbles grew to 6 bubbles and started forming a mouth. pretty amazing imo
