The coral in question is the one at the bottom of the pictures below.

Thanks in anticipation

Not sure on the top green one, but the one on the bottom with rose highlights looks to be A.gemmifera.

Thank you.

I was told by the dealer who sold me the frag that the top one is Acropora microclados (not the SSC variant). Both frags came from wild colonies.

Is that one of my frags.... if so it is a microclados

These frags were freshly cut from two separate wild colonies that according my lfs came from Australia. Do you supply colonies to the UK via an intermediary. Which frag is microclados? Top or bottom?

Thanks

I knew it. I knew it. I thought it looked very similar to one specific coral you showed in your thread. Thank you. What I do not understand is that the mother colony of this particular coral looked fairly blue. How come?

let it grow, let it grow, let it grow, lol.... it should turn pastel blue with bright pink coralite rings and red polyps.... depending on light and conditions of course.

not trying to start an argument, but there is no way of knowing that the OPs coral was sourced from you, and the radial coralites on his piece taper to the growing point like A. gemmifera. the structure is identical of coral lites is as well.

"it should turn pastel blue with bright pink coralite rings and red polyps...."- The mother colony was pastel blue in the dealer's tank but did not shops any pink tips or red polyps, but when the frag was in my tank it kept its blue colour for some time while developing pink tips but no sight of red polyps. However, I have not yet paid attention to the colour of the polyps. I will look more carefully in the next six month.

I set my timer in my alarm clock. I hope to be able to produce a better picture. In the meantime, I will talk to my lfs to establish the name of the intermediary. I will probably see him this Saturday.

Thank you both of you for helping me.

Errm, I forgot to mention that I bought these two frags last June. The photo below was taken last August:
