Well, as I continue to part out my 225, thought I'd put some pics of my new tank. Its a 60gal cube I got from tinytool, has low iron glass on the front and both sides. Here it is with the rockwork in place..

It was filled with water yesterday and is currently plumbed into my frag tank and at the moment the 225. I did this so it would be one common water column making it easy to move livestock in...

And today after adding a few select SPS colonies..

I'll post more info and pics as it moves along.

Wow, you didn't waste any time on putting this puppy up. Looks nice! It's still hard for me to picture you with only a 60 gallon tank.

Nice! could use a couple of Nano streams.

Actually there is a 6045 in there, I will be adding 2 6025's and 1 more 6045 soon.

Heres a pic after adding some more SPS:

Hey everyone. I saw this tank in person today and those pictures do not do it ANY justice. This thing is going to be killer once it grows out. :D

I just took it easy adding the water, it is plumbed all together, so at the moment its about 400gal total, until I take the 225 and the old sump offline. The rock was also added before the water, so I didnt have to disturb it when putting the rock in.

I thought your tank looked like a really nice bright white in person. Your camera skills are lacking, Allen!

Yeah, it always takes a bit to get used to new lighting, I'll wait to figure that out once I have the halide on there;)

Well, as of yesterday the 60 gallon is running on its own, the 225 has been officially taken down. Ill put some more updates on here as I get the tank completely up and running.

Cool deal man! I'm sure this tank is gonna be a lot less work and a lot less expensive to run....

Well, thats the plan anyway. Of course the "less work" wont come for a little while.

While not in its final position and not yet gravity fed, heres a pic of the skimmer, its a Deltec AP600. Its currently being fed by an Eheim 1250. This things pulls out an unbelievable amount of nog for its size and for only using 20W!!

I have yet to get this hooked up, but here is the new calcium reactor, a Deltec PF509:
