Getting ready to transfer my tank, and would like to see pics of tanks you think have the best layout....thanks.

check out reefvideos.com to see some i'd die to have. this is not my website but check there or on here in the members galleries.

There have been numerous great threads on aquascaping. Do a search for them. Check out the Japanese tank 'scapes, as they tend to look extremely realistic.

www.oregonreef.com hands down.

Steve puts it best on aquascaping, the perfect scape is an ever changing battle. As corals grow you need to re-aquascape to allow for more growth.
All I got to say is wow!

Unfortunately, his reef crashed earlier this year due to an equipment malfunction.

*giggle*

My manager spent days and days arranging and rearranging his new 75 with it's 150+ lbs of liverock. I had known him to create absolutely fantastic, natural, and utterly jaw-dropping displays, so, when he called me to come down and see his new aquascaping, I was thrilled to say the least. But, when I saw this new creation he was so proud of, I could help but blurt out about how it looked like a boat ran aground to me. He had all this tonga branch work, but it was all almost horizontal, and several of the broken ends were showing. He got really mad to say the least.

.... why am I telling you this?

Because we could chew the fat all day long about what's the best way to aquascape, but it's all going to come down to your liverock (because all liverock's slightly different and goes together differently!), your corals, and your personal taste!

Might I recommend checking out any of the Tanks of the Months.

Or, you can check out Rate My Fish Tank to see what other people think are the prettiest reefs, as well as some considered to be more dismal so you can try to establish a barometer for your own tank!

//EDIT:

On Rate My Fish Tank, check out the best rated "This Year" as opposed to just "This Month." Although the current #1 for this month is ab-fab, the rest are meh at best. The "This Year" ones are amazing!
