Question. What do you feel is the perfect distance from the surface of the water to your halides?
I run 2- SE 250w halides and I have them about 6-7" from the waters surface. I was thinking about raising the lighting a little higher.. Higher up mounted corals seem to have slower growth than corals lower in the tank..

- 6x Narva White 10.000k
- 8x Narva Blue 2
- 2x Giesemann Pink

Thanks! You can use it between 8 and 10", as long as the light isn't spreading off the tank.
