The Best from Brazil - 400G SPS Tank

carlinhos,

Looks like a great rock work smooth and clean

I think its a great idea preparing the "legs" for the rock to make it stand solid at minimum floor covering - looks super
One question though - why did you cover the top of the rock-work with cement also ? for aesthetic reasons ?
looks like this way will have less ground for the bacteria to grow and populate on, no ?

You're tank is one of the best tank over the globe, keep on the awesome work

I made this layout with minimum support to prevent dirt accumulation under the rocks.

The bottom is made with samoa pink with resin, it's compact.

There is water movement under the rocks to always remove dirt.

I put cement over the plataforms to cover all the holes and avoid deposits of dirt.

About the bacteria, there's no problem, because I use remote DSB, and that's enough.

Thank you guys for the comments and words.

Looks like Acropora austera.

Vernon, Corals of Australia and the Indo-Pacifc C1986 p 163

It's blue (lights making it a tad purple looking I'd suspect) which is the most common color listed. The growth habit appears spot on with the coralite and chalice structures appear the same.
