the best vortech mode for sps

I have mine set on Long Pulse @ 100% at the longest interval in my 75 Gallon...I have a wall of rock in the middle to back and this creates the most overall flow in the tank.

All other modes don't give me the flow I need.
 
Just found this thread along with a very similar one. Rather than starting a new thread, would like to get more input here. I just set up three mo40's on my tank measuring 96x36x23-each on back wall ( left center right)
It seems reef crest is very popular.
 
I use tidel swell at 70-80%.To me, it seems that reef crest spends most of its time in a low flow state even if its at 100%. I can run reef crest at 100% indefinitely and not bother my sand. But not tidel swell... after a few days it makes huge mounds of sand everywhere.
 
Hi guys, im just setting up a 24 X 24 X 12 and want a good flow for the tank. It will be similar to a lagoon in scape and im hoping to recreate a nice flow and movement at the top of the water, like a wave. The overflow is 5cm lower that the tank itself and im wondering what mode would suit me best for the tank. Like i said id like some good flow but also a wave to develop. And if possible to have the vortech on the back of the tank. Thanks so much
 
I run 2 on a 57g tank. Opposite walls. Using a Apex, I randomize it throughout the day.
Here's how its set, the second pump is either as sync or anti-sync, same speed.

The numbers are the % its set at:

I have an MP40 & MP10 on my tank and they run on reef crest mode. Sometimes I will have them synced together, other times I will have them running opposite of each other. Waiting to get the module for my apex so I can change the modes.
 
I have mine running through my apex. When lights off they are constant at 50%. When lights on they transition from reefcrest, lagoon, and nutrient export. Seems to working good. I have the power set so water doesn't splash out of the tank. I run rimless.
 
I use Ecosmart Tidal Swell mode 100% power. I have 1 mp60 on the right end and 2 mp40 on the back wall of my 72L x 27D x 25H 210. The mp40s on the back are set to the turquoise ( back wall) mode. I had sand blowing issues and rather than smoothing it back out I place rock rubble and keep adding more and more sand until area stabilizes and the mounds stop growing.

I have my mp40wes on back wall on my 96x36x23 and have issues also of sand blowing away from front glass. *Mode is reef crest 100%
Why do you call the turquoise the back wall mode. My manual doesn't mention that.*
