The build quality of GHL ProfiLux

http://profiluxsupport.com/showthread.php?89-Digital-Powerbars&p=500#post500

Thanks Aspec you made my day ;)

"Holy Crap -- you were not kidding about the build quality of the power bar. Once opened I realized 2 things:

1) There was no way to cut this down to size

2) Talk about high quality, top of the line computer controlled power

The GHL power bar makes everything else look like a cheap $10 knock off surge protector. I honestly understand why these things are so expense now. Each plug is on it's own high capacity relay, the printed circuit board is amazing, and it's all high quality wiring. It's built like a tank.

+1 GHL"

He was kind enough to take and share a pic (Thanks AJ)

That is the digital 6 way power bar. Non PAB version.

No one has sent me a P3 yet free of charge (hint, hint Allen or AQD ;) ) so I don't have a PAB version for show and tell yet.

Thanks for the info What is the difference between a digitial powerbar and a pab powerbar? Thanks I do have a Profilux II ex but it is not up and running as of yet.

PAB stands for ProfiLux Address Bus, basically it has two way traffic signal so it can send data as much as receive. So you get Current monitoring for starters.

As it is a full blown networkable Bus system (same used in cars etc, so damn robust) you can daisy chain all other PAB devices to it. You also have potentially infinate sockets available to you.

PAB is only available on P3 and P3EX

The photo above as pointed out is standard 6 socket digital not PAB, if you opened a PAB up you would be even more blown away! (And I dont mean the electical shock you got from forgetting to unplug it first ;) )
