Guys remeber this is going to be the new print friendly "official" Logo!
It will be used in print, on t-shirts/products, almost everything CVRC related.

The official logo needs to not have letters turned sideways and or upside down in my opinion, (looks juvenile) Besides which we are about a reef not just crabs and starfish. You can keep those things in any saltwater tank. #3 says, we(as a club) are advanced in saltwater reef keeping not new beginners. JMO.

I think your looking at it wrong but I don't care which you vote for. First of all these are my opinions as a professional artist and not meant to attack or ridicule anyone. I expected far better and far more entries than just three. These are however the only choices available that meet the proper guidelines (line copies), if you are not happy with them I will consider initiating a new contest but only if there are more than three SERIOUS entries to choose from.
Marry I kind of agree with you on that but #3 has one of the biggest flaws of all IMO.
Lets keep the critiques out of this thread though, this encourages hard feelings among your fellow members who took time to try to help in this matter.
<b>BTW the final image will be reworked to represent the CVRC. That means there will be minor changes and I will work with the artist to produce a logo you can all be proud of.<b>

Hey, I actually did do #1 for kids shirts, so it was meant to be juvenile. When I was doing this stuff I had alot more planned but we have had alot of family issues, 2 deaths, hospitalizations...so I did not have time to do things I wanted to do. I don't think #1 should be used as an offical logo to be honest, I actually did it to make free kids t-shirts for the club because I have a screen printing machine. I wish that the contest would be done over and everyone get involved in it and submit some art, that is if it would be okay with everyone. And I do not have hard feelings at all about it, maybe just a little hurt because art is personal, but its okay because it was honestly meant for a childs shirt.

I did not mean to step on anyones feelings. I just wanted to point out this logo needs to meet the image quality that we want the club to be known for. I guess I should have put it more delicately, But I was in a hurry.
