The damsel finally got it

My damsel that was living with my p. ciliata has met her maker.
RIP rapunsel
I came home from my girls house this morning to feed the fish and master shredder had already fed himself. I fed him a molly the other day and I guess he just got a taste for fish blood. I expected as much but he just ate the molly two days ago!!! the worst part is I think he may have buried the corpse and I don't know where!!! Let this be a lesson to anyone trying to mix and match with their mantis. Don't put anything you would miss in there with them.

Poor Rupunsel.... Such a sweet little damsel... I guess it was just a matter of time after Shredda got his first taste of fresh sushi...

MAN THAT WAS ONE FAST STRIKE! That Molly disappeared after one frame! my camera takes about 15 frames per second, thats equivalent to about 6 milliseconds! I've read the range is between 2 and 6 milliseconds, so that is right in that ballpark!

Just gave shredda a new DSB and some more LR last night. I buried his tunnel and now he's burrowing out of the rubble. I also put in an urchin to lively up the seascape. I will have some more pictures soon. Also the next victim is in the feeder tank getting beat up by my beta. It is a dark orange and black hifi.... ought to make for a better video...soon enough
