I have noticed a patch of substrate that is finer than the norm ... tonight after testing, I noticed that there two "pyramids" of sand. There is a cuke that lives in the substrate about 6-8 inches away (to the right) with it's head up most times. The are(were) about the size, somewhere a nickel and a quarter, in diameter. I just went back to check that, the lights have been out for about 15 min, so I got a flashlight and :eek1: !! even though I didn't hear any singing, it looks like the fat lady sat on them!!! Anyone have any clues? I thought I knew all the mobile critters, but I guess not. Here is a pic before the lights went out ...
I do have a second cuke, but it is all the way on the other end of the tank with it's head out of the sand ... And"mantis speed" they do not have ... :hmm4:
