The eagles are landing today!

Awesome fish Peter! I just got a golden puffer from LADD 10 days ago. Their fish are simply amazing! Here is a puffer's LADD photo.

Thanks! All 3 are in QT. The declivis is amazing!! Super small (2"?) with a very dark black back (my favorite!!). The Muelleri is also small, barely 3" and fat! Gorgeous fish. The paucifasciatus is spectacular, needless to say. I haven't seen one in person in so long, I forgot how pretty they are. There is a tint of yellow throughout the body... nothing like a regular pearlscale or mertens. The declivis and paucifasciatus have both already eaten PE mysis, live blackworms, mince diver scallop, and minced jumbo shrimp already. The Muelleri is still being shy, but looking good.

Nice shopping trip you had!! Good luck with them. I am quite sure they will be very happy to be in your aquariums with your expertise and all!

I love the paucifasciatus! I saw it featured in the LADD fish banner and was trying to find it. Looks like you got the jump.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful fish. Nothing but envy for you right now.

WOW! can I ask how much you paid for all 3? just curious you dont have to answer that but they are very nice indeed

Thanks folks! The paucifasciatus is going in my FOWLR... mostly other butterflies, and a few angels. I hope to put the muelleri in the reef, with a couple tangs, a couple yellow long nose butterflies, and a bunch of small fish like anthias and wrasses and such. I am undecided if I want to risk the declivis in the reef. Probably not, meaning I will probably have to catch my blackback butterfly out of the FOWLR before introducing the declivis, since I'm sure he will attack such a similar looking fish, as he's quite aggressive.

Yeah, I don't think I have the dedication for a fish like that, especially not after that year with the marginalis :(
