Wow! Gonna be watching this as well! Do you have feet on your stand or pads so it doesn't scratch the floor?

This will have all the harder to keep species of SPS in the way of coral and fish I'm still a little undecided. I was leaning towards something a little different and try a pair of genicanthus angels but I'm not 100% on that yet

:lolspin: I wouldn't be so certain about that sahin, I just wanted to try something a little different with this tank and step outside the comfort zone. If it turns out half as good as the other I'll be happy my friend
Thanks mate, the other tank is getting a little easier to look after now as it's ageing and I also wanted to start learning a little more outside of my normal routine. Hopefully all goes well
Thanks Chris, I have glued some thin boat carpet to the entire underneath of the stand so it has a bit of a cushion and also doesn't scratch like you mentioned

Great start my friend this gonna be another great tank..just for fyi the zeo reactor you must seperate the small stones that would fit in the tiny holes it will clog it and cause some issues, i hated it when i had to remove all the tiny stones from the hole..

I hear you about the small stones mate! I found that out with the other zeo reactor I had on the 3ft, I ended up puting them in a sock and giving them an extra shake once a week lol

No no I'm not after that again Mike I'm just after a different challenge and for all I know it could be a major flop.
It's ok buddy I'm getting used to the hatrid now :lol: lucky I have a hard shell like a sea turtle :lolspin:

Just some random pics as the build happens. Firstly my new Red Dragon 4500lph speedy 3 return pump and just looking at I'm impressed.
Secondly just the sump shell been finished now just waiting on some baffles

I think a pair of genicanthus would be awesome in this tank! That's something I want to do in my tank, but I don't have any more room for larger fish.
