Just be careful with all of those brass fittings, brass=copper and copper kills corals.

lol I'm sorry Jon :) actually I started this thread a while back just now starting to get at it (seems like forever)
I did see your thread ,I look forward to seeing the 55! Photo bucket is really easy once you get used to it.

If brass and copper were an issue in getting water none of us would have corals left...most water lines are copper, It has to do with the end product, which if the RO is working right is pure. The unit should work fine, after you hook it up and it has time to run a little draw off a sample and test it with a TDS meter. That will tell you if it is working.
It should read at or near 0
 
It all depends on which end of the unit the are on. If there are any past the RO membranes I would try to change them out.
