has very good info on how common, where found, at what depth and other info like that and it's grouped by body type.
so when you say for example "long silver fish " I can get a whole list of fish that look like that to work thru.
if it is a grouper it may not be easy to id at this stage...
most photos in this book are adult sized, perhaps somewhere online is a site with some juvi forms to look at.
also there are some demsels in the book that look as ugly as a grouper so that could be also....
or a pigfish or a snapper -- some of them might look the same at juv stages....
