The Iwagumi Reef

It's great to see that you have put so much thought into creating a near natural aquascape. The comparison pics of your inspiration from nature and what you have replicated in your tank is just cool.
Even me I wanted to keep things looking as close to nature in my new tank. And your thought and ideas are a big inspiration to me.
I'm stocking corals now :) hoping you will take a look at my thread and give me some pointers
Thanks for sharing your beautiful creation with us
Happy Reefing!!

Thanks a lot for visiting my thread... :)
My tubastrea is doin fine but not an easy task to feed them. How do you feed yours? Any special techniques?

What fishes are in your future wishlist now...cant wait to see more of those tiny treasures you will be adding in our tank :)

I feed with Ultrahealth Fauna Marin (I think that LPS Grow Fauna Marin is the best food for this corals, but I´ve Ultrahealth now and it´s a good option too) on syringe 3x/week in the night.
I want increase my T. Rubromaculatum and Coryphopterus colonies to 15 specimens each.

Thanks a lot for the input...i will look for Ultrahealth Fauna Marin and LPS Grow Fauna Marin. I dont wanna add too much frozen mysis as it will pollute my tank water too much and its not a good thing as i am planning to add more SPS into my system.

Wow,,,,it will be so cool to see when u you have made those new additions into your system :)

A few new photos of the Iwagumi...

Your tank is amazing. Not only the aquascaping, but also the colors.

Just curious, what is that bright yellow one?

oh man keeps getting better and better. love your corals, great selection, they grow nice! i have to say the yellow one (echinata?) is the most beautiful ive ever seen. about the scape, i think everything has been said. perfect.

Yano hi!!
You bet we like them! Everything looks beautiful and well laid out.
Colours are popping and the frags are growing and settling in beautifully.
Very nice colour contrasts you have got there and just smart coral placement.
A very unique and inspiring aquascaping art.
Happy Reefing!!
