The Kamoer pumps

I enquired about the buying just the head only that they use on those awhile back. The cost was $78.00 USD each from the supplier on Alibaba. I am not sure if that included a motor, I typically prefer steppers, so it may have been for the stepper version, but can't remember exactly (and the reply does not mention it). They do look more robust than your typical pumps heads offered for aquariums.

I know a company up here in canada, reefsupplies.ca says there are amazing and he has not had one return on them.

There is also these...

I can also see these being used for auto water changes, where you may need more than 15 mins of run time, which is typically the max recommended run time of other dosing pumps. Or for ATO with kalkwasser. Any application where you don't want to use a traditional pump in your container.
I just don't see what the max flow rate is???

It also doesn't say specifically if it's meant for continuous use like this one is...

Nice find on the Kamoer stepper motor I may have to look into that for my upcoming Calcium RX setup. I was going to try and put together a CP masterflex setup ( I run one for my AWC setup) but this looks nice for the price.

Not meaning to side track this thread but any thoughts on the Neptune Apex DOS stepper motors (2 motors same price) if you have an apex they say they can be used continuously?

Yeah, I would love to get one for my CaRx, and then 3 more. Two for AWC and one for ATO with kalkwasser.

I've also looked into the Neptune Apex DOS stepper motors. I also saw these in Denver at the MACNA. They were ok. Great Idea.

So thanks to salty supply for getting back to me...
The cheaper pump is 16-38 ml/min.
And the more expensive one is 2-320 ml/min.
